Thought leadership content

Known primarily as a credit card network, Mastercard needed to raise awareness of its B2B cybersecurity and identity offerings. Over five years, I collaborated with multiple teams at Mastercard and its acquisitions, Ekata and NuData Security, to ideate and execute compelling thought leadership content across channels including earned media and organic search. Throughout that time I’ve:

  • pivoted from lead writer to account manager and editor

  • shifted the program’s focus away from brand positioning to organic search performance and back again

  • worked with three separate teams across multiple internal reorganizations

Throughout these shifts, I’ve maintained our team’s focus on delivering deeply researched, accurate, compelling content that aligns with changing brand standards and legal guidelines, establishing us as a trusted partner for Mastercard as this part of its business continues to evolve.

Thought leadership blog posts (2023-present)

In 2023, I led a team of writers and SEO experts to incorporate Mastercard brand priorities as well as keyword research, seasonal search trends and other inputs into a 10-month blog calendar. Then I oversaw execution of 10 articles that earned consistent praise from clients for their alignment with brand messaging, tone and voice.
